Smart-Kitchen (Hackathon)

  • ENY Hackathon was organized by Quantum, Panasonic and the Neura INC at San Francisco. Our product was an IoT- based android app and server, which helps you to make your kitchen smarter by using ENY button and Neura SDK
  • Our Smart-Kitchen solution offered to avoid the repetitive and cumbersome task of grocery shopping.
  • We devised a way in which grocery orders for the items remaining less than a certain threshold would be triggered to vendors or notified to the owner as a push notification in Android phone.
  • We used Neura SDK to cleverly notify a specific user that was near to a grocery shop and integrated ENY button to make entire app work on a click of an IoT button
  • The hackathon product won first prize from The Neura Inc, one of the sponsors of the hackathon also was mentioned in companies blogs found at following link Making IoT Devices Smarter with Artificial Intelligence

SlackBot Framework - BotMan

DESCRIPTION:
Designing and Developing a framework to help users create Bots for Slack integration.
The website was an EC2 hosted framework to build and deploy SlackBots using Heroku cloud Platform-as-a-Service.
The framework helps a user program the bots easily by providing a JavaScript editor environment using CodeMirror and JSHint.
Bots help slack (www.slack.com) users to integrate their processes, tools and mundane tasks using bots.
We have implemented the Agile Methodologies with Kanban Board (waffle.io).
The hosted service allows the following:

  • Let a user host their bots using Heroku Directories.
  • Help a user program the bots easily by providing a javascript editor using CodeMirror and JSHint.
  • Deploy to production(Slack) easily using Heroku cloud Platform-as-a-Service
  • Complete directory management was provided to manage the Heroku directories and bot token reuse.
The project was considered one of the best innovative ideas preseted and implemented and was featured in the blog:
